In compliance with the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR), we only process data that is “reasonably necessary” for:
- Performing title searches and issuing insurance policies.
- Communicating with lenders, Realtors, and attorneys involved in your transaction.
- Maintaining our internal records as required by Florida law.
3. Data Security & “Consumer Trust”
Under the Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA), we implement administrative and technical safeguards to protect your PII (Personally Identifiable Information).
- Encryption: All data submitted via our forms is encrypted in transit.
- Disposal: We dispose of sensitive records securely once the statutory retention period (typically 7 years in Florida) expires.
